Lily LeBlanc isn’t versed in the art of casual sex, but after seven years in an on-again, off-again relationship, she’s definitely willing to give it a shot. And who better to try it with than her best friend’s boyfriend’s best friend? What could possibly go wrong?

NHL player, Randy Ballistic, lives up to his last name on the ice and in the bedroom. His best friend and teammate has recently given up the puck bunnies and traded them in for a real girlfriend. And she just happens to have a seriously feisty, extra-hot best friend on the rebound. Randy’s more than happy to be Lily’s spring board back into the dating scene.

But casual sex is only casual until those pesky things called emotions get involved. Once that happens, someone’s bound to get pucked over.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

That was such a fun read! Definitely better than Pucked UP, and fighting really close for the first place as my favorite book in the series along with Puck.
This book was a romance comedy full of some laugh out loud moments and some really hot steamy sex scenes. But it also had some insightful moments too, that I must confess made me tear up a little. Those were some Lily moments.
I loved the characters! Lily, the female lead was funny and snarky. One thing I love about Helena Hunting’s books is all the slang she throws there. Besides that, her story (Lily’s) was really complex and I the reason I didn’t give it 5 stars it’s because I wish the story would have developed more of that side of the characters, but I also know that the series is not about that, so I don’t complain too much.
Randy, the male character, was really hot, I mean, have you look at that cover? It’s definitely worth some swooning and not just for the cover, because he was fun too and definitely attractive as a character. I wish we could have seen more of him, more of the story with his family and I think there was something fishy going on with his dad, so…

Overall the story was fun, it was good and perfect for a summer read (It’s summer here were I live) Also, I felt butterflies in my tummy and that is always very good when reading a book, it means I am feeling the story, the romance. And I so did, I felt the chemistry between them, maybe not with such passion from the beginning but it was definitely there! 🙂

P.S. I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
